I am advertising this motorcycle on behalf of the owner who is downsizing his collection of motorcycles,this one in particular has now become to heavy for him.

1959 BMW R60 owned by the current owner for 17 years

Original U.K. bike with buff logbok & V5c

Large amount of paperwork & receipts/photo's detailing the rebuild

Non matching frame & engine but we think it is a later 1959 R60 engine which has been fitted which matches the V5c

Work done on rebuild, completed by a very reputable BMW enthusiast Terry Bradshaw -  bike has only covered a couple of hundred of dry miles since and remained unused in a dry garage.
Frame, Forks, & rear arm all blasted & powder coated.
New Taper bearings fitted to:- Headstock, Forks and Swinging arm
Tank, headlamp blasted and Twin pack painted and lined and sealed, New Bosch headlamp rim fitted and new reflector,  LED front  side light and rear tail and stop fitted.
Handlebars and Air inlet pipes Re-chromed, New silencers fitted
Repro mudguards fitted, painted and lined
Engine , gearbox and drive cases Glass bead blasted .
Engine stripped down and all seals and bearings replaced except big end which was perfect.
New wiring loom and dip switch fitted.
Wheels rebuilt with stainless steel spokes, new bearings and seals, new tyres and tubes.
New bonded brake linings fitted
Most bolts replaced with Stainless steel
New seat and supports fitted,  BMW pump fitted
New  Side stand and rear Carrier fitted  (both expensive)
