Triumph T160 Trident
The build date of the bike is October 1975 and it was first registered on 8th October 1977 in the UK. It has matching frame and engine numbers.

The current owner purchased it in 2020 the last owner having stripped and restored it in 2017/18, using many new parts including stainless steel fasteners all round as well as stainless steel spokes on the original Dunlop rims.
Last year the bike was taken to Dave Smith of Smithcraft who is a well-known triples expert for some remedial work.
The bike was thoroughly checked from front to back and a large amount of work was completed, at a considerable cost, which is all documented.
This included a full top end overhaul, as well as gearbox, primary drive, and carb, rebuilds along with several other small but important jobs.  A new chain and sprockets were fitted along with a new battery and clutch plate. All this was completed with new or uprated best quality parts.
As well as this several upgrades were also made. The front down pipes were replaced with LP Williams Legend pipes and collector. The electrics were uprated to 3 phase and a new Tri-Spark Triple Flex ignition system fitted. A Triples Unlimited proximity sensor neutral switch was also fitted which gives a consistent neutral light as well as smooth selection of first second and neutral. After five hundred miles the bike was returned to Smithcraft for a final check over and the head was re-torqued.

This is a well sorted good looking bike in good condition with everything running as it should and is being sold because of a change in the owners personal circumstances and him not having enough time to ride it.
