​1952 BSA B31 350cc 

​

I am advertising this motorcycle on behalf of a customer of mine

The BSA is located in Uppermill Oldham Greater Manchester

Matching numbers bike with original frame and engine pairing as shown in the BSA Dating
Comes with green card RF60 continuation logbook issued in 1964.
Known to have previously been owned by one family for 40 years.
All metalwork refinishing completed by The Finishing Touch including fuel tank repairs, rechroming , lining and sealing.
Tank and wheelrims centres repainted in the correct Brunswick Green.
New British chrome wheelims by CW including stainless steel spokes and fitted with new Avon tyres, tubes and rim tapes.
New sealed wheel bearings fitted
Gearbox overhauled with all new bearings, drive sprocket and chain.
Crankshaft and connecting rod rebuilt by Alpha with all new bearings.
Cylinder head work by EngineTech including new valves, guides and springs.
Rebored to 0. 060" plus JP Piston.
Dynamo rebuilt (6v) and DVR2 regulator fitted from RSS, bike rewired and new control cables fitted.
New plunger springs and shrouds, new fork bushes and s/ s oil seal holders.
New Amal Monobloc fitted together with new Armours exhaust system.
Magneto overhauled by D. H. Day ( Very Expensive )
Speedo overhauled by Chronometric Instrument Services and left set at the original mileage of 40143 miles.
Lots of s/ s fasteners and fittings used including handlebars by Barleycorn.
All the above is supported by a large file of invoices and information.
Comes with the old original carburettor & dual seat base.
BSA Service Sheet workshop manual and Owners Handbook.
Note: the frame number had been entered incorrectly by hand in the 1964 RF60 (19967) but this has been rectified by the DVLA in the latest V5C (19917) after they inspected the bike and documents in 2025.
Has done approximately 150 miles since completion and needs further bedding in of brakes

​Overall this is a really nice B31 you would struggle to find one much better

The current owner rebuilt this bike over a number of years & thoroughly enjoyed doing it with no expense spared

However he is finding it a little to heavy for him now hence the reluctant sale
